Every published field should be traceable.

1. Manufacturer discovery

English search is supplemented by Chinese search because an English product website may be poorly indexed under English queries. Only candidates with a usable English website enter this edition of the directory.

2. Website profiles

Each distinct website domain is retained as a separate profile. Related brands, dealers, groups or alternate domains are not silently merged.

3. Source collection

Comparable product fields are collected from public official HTML product pages. Official PDFs may be listed as convenient downloads, but PDF contents are not extracted into filters or rankings. The collector respects robots.txt, rate limits and access restrictions.

4. Extraction and normalization

Rules and optional AI convert official web-page text into structured claims. Missing values remain blank. A website without comparable web-page data may still appear in the official website directory, but it is not included in parameter rankings.

Published cooling capacities can be filtered and sorted by their stated nominal value. The corresponding test condition is displayed when the manufacturer publishes it; otherwise the record is marked “Test condition not recorded”. Values are not recalculated to a common condition, so buyers should review the source and confirm final suitability.

5. Review and maintenance

New records remain drafts until approved. A missing page is marked as source missing, not discontinued. Discontinued status requires an explicit manufacturer statement.
